New Stories Anyone?
Crazy crazy here! So Calendar got finished and printed and done (still have copies about if you want one!) and Heroes & Ghosts got into a really great print job and done (now on amazon! woot!) and believe it or not we got the magazine done and printed. Is it 100% what I would have liked? Naw but what is? I had a gnawing debate about trimming the edges but it really is so much easier to read with them untrimmed and it didn’t cut down the centerfold at all. Both the husband and the minion told me to stop freaking out over a little thing but I just want it to be grand! This isn’t just my baby, it’s a chance to showcase all the wonderful yaoi lover creative sorts out there and I really want to do justice to them!
Which would be stress enough but Embers ended this week too. Did you all know I tend to get all weepy and upset when the last chapter of a story goes up? I always get a touch blue over it… There is more for Liam and Deseem to do but the story has resolved the first levels of conflict and the rest of the stuff that happens needs has a very solid ’same bat time same bat channel’ type feel. It needed to be it’s own book soooo Embers had to come to an end.
That just means… drum roll please… new story! WOOT!
Actually, stories…
Since it’s Friday, I’ll spill.
Saturday chapters are now going to a store called If I Lay Here, the picture below is a teaser of one of the boys. I’d tell you what it’s about but than I’d have to shoot you and we wouldn’t want that now would we? It is modern set…
Monday’s we’ll be revisiting our dear swordsman friend Tarin Morris because I want to play with his messed up pretty head some more. I will give a warning, it will be a slow build to smexy m/m goodness but the fun angst tragedy level will be high. This is the second of the three parts of his tale so I highly doubt it will be as long as say Embers was but ooo Tarin’s going to meet his match!
Midweek will stay the chapter for Is Yet… I want to take it to twice a week but Tarin has been such a good boy waiting now for so long! It might get moved to Mondays but it’ll stay at once a week until the second third of Tarin’s story is told.
What’s in the works? Ah, bounty hunters, elves, vampires, Englishmen, demons, saints, accountants and maybe a few demigods… maybe… LOL <ahem>
OH and All Souls Pass is aimed to be the next in print and Yaoi Magazine Issue 2 is aimed for April!
I’m starting to think the Weather Girls were right… it does seem to be raining men here!

Only one thing to say : Bounty Chest ! Your site is really becoming like a house with yummy little chocolates in every corner.
Only thing is, it’s becoming soooo hard to wait every week for the updates, I was so much more festing when I first discovered your site - only been one year ohh- and could plunge into the completed stories! Oh was the good ol’ times, I was a blessed and sheltered innocent…nah!
Keep going Sarah
I reckoned you’re living in the States due to the time difference when I do a post, just know that poor me is living in Europe and has to wait till 1 A.M. (Minimum!) for your updates. And no, it’s not because I’m a smut addict, it’s NOT! >_<

YAY! New stories! *_* I just love your work and the fact that you stay motivated enough to finish and update is a bonus. *Has too short an attention span* I can’t wait to see what you do with these stories and I can’t wait for an update for Is Yet. *May explode with excitement*

Popped over to read your blog and since you mentioned Heroes and Ghosts in print, I thought I’d leave a note. I received my signed, (yay, omg! thx!), copy this past week and am now half-way through it. From the moment I opened the package, it was obvious this was a nice book. The binding, the print size, cover… (1000x better than my cafepress copies of BtL 1&2)… everything is put together beautifully. This compliments the lovely story within. I hope to give it a decent review over on my blog as soon as I finish it and review it over at Amazon as well. (I say decent with hope, only because I’m not very good at writing reviews. lol) Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I love it and say Thank You for signing it! (and no you don’t have horrible handwriting. ^^)

Ah Tarrin, your angstiness does me good. And Noah looks like a demmed fine boy by his art work. AND YOU SARAH! You rule. Like fried chicken in a WoW instance. Cause when everything else goes to shit, at least we have… fried sarah? Oo oooooooohkkkaaaaaaayyyy then…. no more tired typing for me.

Woot! Love you sarah! Keep it up. Drop me a line sometime if you get time. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us.
And just because I’ve always wanted to know……what do you do if you get writers block?

Thanks Wl552, we really, really, really worked hard to raise the bar on Heroes. Blur was a good attempt but we wanted something solid and lasting! And if you knew how I’d filled a sheet of paper to practice that signature you’d laugh at me! I’m glad it made it there safely!
And ooo writer’s block. Don’t hate me but it doesn’t happen often. If one story is being a bother I take a break and mentally go play with another story. Sometimes just backing off and letting the story simmer does the trick, otherwise I just sort of power through it. It isn’t always fun and it sure as hell isn’t always easy but I remind myself how grateful I am to be doing something I love. The deadlines help too, they keep me from being all ‘oh I’ll do it tomorrow’ but really I wrote like this for oh a decade or more before the site came about. It’s just what I do I guess…and speaking of which… Epi and Nick are calling cause I don’t have a chapter ready for tomorrow!
